Exciting New Pay Rates & Shift Differentials! Best place in Wilmington for LPN’s Wilmington Treatment Center loves our LPNs! When you walk into our nurses' stations, it is impossible to figure out who is an RN and who is an LPN as we all work as a team with the common goal of providing excellent patient care and saving lives. Our LPNs complete initial admission nursing assessments, ongoing assessments, administer medications, partner with our medical and clinical teams to ensure the patient is being served from all disciplines. Our LPNs are essential to great patient care at Wilmington Treatment Center.

We are North Carolina's premier substance abuse recovery hospital and rehabilitation center located in the beachside community of Wilmington, NC. What began as a 22 bed hospital on one campus in 1984 has grown into a 260 bed hospital spanning 3 campuses - and we are still growing! We are a team of professionals dedicated to helping our patients begin their recovery from the disease of addiction. Even though we are growing, we still maintain that feeling of a close-knit community. Essential Functions/Job Duties
- Processes physician orders accurately
- Performs accurate initial and ongoing nursing assessments
- Communicates with the medical team on patient status and follows up as ordered
- Completes documentation as required, accurately and in a timely manner
- Educates patient on medical tests, procedures, medication and other items as appropriate.
- Accurately administers medications in all forms
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- Licensed to practice as a LPN in the state of North Carolina
- Ability to work with male and female adult (18+), patients with substance use and/or mental health disorders
- Knowledge of substance use and mental health disorders
- Ability to work well with male and female adult (18+) patients with Chemical dependency and Mental Health disorders
- CPR and CPI certification (training offered onsite)
- Teamwork and excellent customer service
- Experience caring for patients with substance use and/or mental health disorders
- Knowledge of 12 step recovery programs
